Forest School

At St Mary's we understand the importance of outdoor learning opportunities. We have recently trained two members of staff to lead and implement Forest School. The children gain life skills and confidence which supports their overall development. In one session, the children create snails using conkers and clay.

Pottery

The children enjoy taking part in pottery sessions with our pottery instructor. The children design their item, learn the techniques of pottery creation and share their success with their peers.

Enrichment Days

St Mary's Enrichment Days are very popular with our community. The children take part in enrichment activities such as football, crafts, drama, chess and experiments. One of the sessions included mindfulness activities. The children discussed techniques to take care of their own mental health. They took part in yoga and colouring activities. During our music enrichment, the children explored how to use glockenspiels.
